Four-contact cylindrical electrode with a linear connector

Purpose:

• The four-contact cylindrical electrode transmits the stimulating signal from the NejSi-3M generator, via the transmitting and receiving antennas, to the four contacts of the Ø1.2 mm electrode. It is used for SCS (spinal cord stimulation) and DBS (deep brain stimulation).

Features:

• With many variants of distal length and configuration, this electrode covers a wide range of applications.
• Its small Ø1.2 mm diameter allows the electrode to pass easily through a 14G Tuohy needle.
• Needs no power supply.

• The proximal part is 2 mm in diameter.

How to use:

• The electrode is placed percutaneously using a Tuohy needle.
• The proximal part of the electrode can be connected:
  - to the NejSi-3M receiving antenna connector
  - to the extension
  - to the programmable linear connector
  - to the test stimulator connector
