ИЭД-1
ЭИД-1 electrodes for intraoperative assessment of the functional state of the nervous system
ЭИД-1 electrodes for intraoperative assessment of the functional state of the nervous system
Purpose:
- ЭИД-1 intraoperative diagnostic electrodes are used to check signal conduction in the human nervous system during surgery
- Used in surgery on peripheral nerves and the spinal cord
- They make it possible to identify non-viable sections of nerve trunks and to optimise the surgical approach in each individual case
- They make it possible to locate the boundary of damaged axons during surgery
- Used both to deliver stimulating pulses from the generator and to record electrical potentials during electroneuromyography
- Used for intraoperative electrical stimulation
Features:

- The specially curved electrode tips provide a reliable contact and temporary fixation
- The electrodes are made of high-grade medical stainless steel
- The non-active part of the electrodes is coated with an insulating polymer
- The handle is shaped for a secure grip during surgery and is made of a durable, non-toxic polymer
- Flexible silicone-insulated conductors connect to the electrodes through plugs that ensure a reliable electrical contact
- A connector divides the electrode into sterile and non-sterile (instrument) sections
- All the materials used to make the electrodes allow repeated sterilisation by steam, heat, chemical, ozone and radiation methods
