КВЭУ-3.2000Вт.48В wind turbine controller

A new member of the wind turbine controller family is now on sale, КВЭУ-3.2000Вт.48В.

You can now order wind turbine controllers rated from 0.5 to 10 kW.
A variant of the wind turbine controller can be supplied that changes the generator's nominal output voltage.
This is necessary where the nominal voltages of the wind generator and the battery bank do not match.
For example, a 120 V turbine with a 48 V battery, or a 48 V turbine with a 240 V battery.

Purpose:

  • The controller converts the AC output of the wind turbine generator into DC for charging the battery bank and controls the generator (braking and stopping the turbine drive).
  • The controller can be used with wind turbine generators rated 48 V AC and up to 2 kW.

Distinctive features:

  • The controller has a built-in device that switches in the ballast automatically, limiting the maximum battery voltage.
  • The controller has overcurrent protection on the battery output.
  • The controller has a built-in switch for changing modes manually between "Run" and "Stop". A soft-braking function operates when switching from "Run" to "Stop".
  • The controller includes an emergency ballast switching system for use if the main system fails.
  • The controller has a built-in voltmeter showing the battery voltage.
  • The controller has a built-in power meter showing the power generated by the turbine.
  • The controller has built-in counters for energy generated and turbine running time, both of which can be reset.
  • Output 2 kW at an output voltage of 48 V DC.
  • Charge monitoring extends battery life.
