RC-01 and RC-02 RC snubbers

Purpose:

• An RC snubber (mains snubber, mains damper, RC snubber network, RC element) is a device used to suppress voltage spikes in electrical circuits — a surge suppressor.
  
• Using RC snubbers smooths and limits switching overvoltages on the components of relay control circuits, reduces arcing on the contacts of the controlling relay and thereby extends its switching life.
  
• Preventing or minimising arcing at the relay contacts reduces the intensity of the electromagnetic emission generated at the moment of switching, which provides the immunity required for sensitive electronic circuits to operate correctly.
