Multi-channel temperature meter

Purpose:

• The С–WAD305/2-15 multi-channel temperature meter (hereafter the Concentrator) is designed for use in multi-point automatic temperature monitoring systems for a variety of industrial processes.
• Measured temperature readings are transmitted over RS485 for distances of up to 200 m.
• The temperature sensing elements are based on a silicon p-n junction.
• Can also be used as a 15-channel analogue (digital) input module for voltage and current signals.

Technical specifications:

• The measured temperature ranges, the limits of permissible fiducial error and the resolution of the Concentrator are given in Table 1 of the corresponding PDF file.
• Interval between measurements — at least 5 seconds.
• Supply: (12–27) V DC or (9–20) V AC, (50 ± 1) Hz.
• Power consumption, max 2.5 W.
• Overall dimensions 230 × 140 × 60 mm.
• Weight 0.5 kg.
• The Concentrator monitors up to 15 temperature sensors.
• The Concentrator stores the readings from all connected temperature sensors and passes them to the supervisory system.
• A built-in RS 485 half-duplex interface passes the monitoring results from the Concentrator to the supervisory system.
• The Concentrator's addressing feature allows up to 30 Concentrators to be connected on a single communication line.
• Galvanic isolation 2000 V.
• The Concentrator's enclosure protection rating at the external cable entries is IP-66 per EN 60529/IEC 529.
